Journal Album from a Paper Bag with Jen (Coolwaters MARCH 2025 Retreat Class ONLY)
This project starts life as a paper grocery bag... we will turn it into a journal / album / notebook.. Using recycled book pages, scrap book paper, coffee dyed papers and other assorted "junk".
The method used could also then translate to gift bags and different sized paper bags - hopefully this class will provide inspiration!

| Requirements: | Basic tool kit – Cutter, pencil, ruler, scissors, etc Glues – double sided tape, foam tape, good liquid glue, glue stick Distress type ink pads – your choice of colours – brown, black for vintage look (All these items can be bought from That Crafty Place! if you require them. Please contact Tina) |

| Instructor Bio: | Here is a little note from Jen ~ I have always enjoyed crafts of varying types, more recently sewing quilts and handbags. Then, a couple of years ago we were travelling overseas with some family members, and I wanted to make us all travel journals. That started me down the rabbit hole of journaling and album making. I especially like recycling – making “junk” journals from old book pages, maps, and so on. While I have not done much scrapbooking, I feel like that meshes well with journaling and album making. I would describe my style as vintage grunge with some steampunk thrown in as well. |
