Hello dear crafting friends, My name is Sandy Machan and I am an avid crafter from way back. I have tried and loved many different types of craft in my lifetime but in this latter stage of my life I have honed in on the ones that I seem to be loving the most.. namely card making and hand stitching. I realise that my passion for collecting buttons, cooking and baking will always be a big part of me though.
Years back now I was a Graphic 45 tragic but then moved onto Lemoncraft for a while but now I just love Mintay or Scrapboys with Mintay being my go to most of the time. I always try to put my own slant on things but do love the Vintage and Shabby styles. I believe that you can always hide a mistake somehow but you just need to get a bit creative at times..eg..by using a different type of medium or maybe even use paint... I actually hand paint the background of most of my teddies before I stitch them onto fabric to get a great visual effect. I am so looking forward to having the opportunity to share one of my ideas with you all at this local craft retreat.. but please...I must ask you all to please cut me some slack as it is my first time presenting for My Scrapbooking Obsession lol.
